Privacy policy
Last updated 2026-10-02 · JVS Invest LLC
JVS Invest LLC runs ezserv and is responsible for the personal data it handles. This page says what we keep, why, who else touches it and for how long. We keep it short because there is not much.
1. What we collect
- Account: your email address, a hash of your password (never the password itself), a display name if you set one, the address (IP) you signed up from, whether your email is verified, and your two-factor secret and recovery codes if you turn two-factor sign-in on.
- Payment: card details go straight to Stripe and never reach us. We keep what Stripe tells us afterwards: the card brand, its last four digits, a fingerprint Stripe derives from it (used only to stop one card starting more than one free trial), and the Stripe customer and subscription ids.
- Servers: server names, mod lists, game settings, the world files and their backups, the join password, and a Discord webhook URL if you add one.
- Requests: the text of every request, the plan made for it, the result, which model answered and what it cost.
- Support: the messages you send through the support form and which server they are about.
- Activity: an audit log of what happened on your account and servers — sign-ins, changes, backups, payments — with times and who did it.
2. Why
To run your servers and apply your requests; to charge subscriptions; to answer support; to keep accounts and the service safe (sign-in locks, abuse limits, one trial per card); and to meet legal duties such as keeping payment records. We do not sell data, and we do not use it for advertising.
3. Who processes it for us
- Stripe handles payments and holds your card details under its own privacy policy.
- Anthropic provides the AI model. When you make a request, the text of that request and your server's facts — its mod list, settings and game version — are sent to the model so it can work out the change. Your email address and payment details are not.
- Resend delivers our email (verification, password reset, trial and billing notices).
- Our hosting provider supplies the machines your servers run on and the machine this site runs on.
Each of them only gets what it needs for its job. If you add a Discord webhook, Discord receives the short event lines we post to it.
4. How long we keep it
- Account data stays while the account exists.
- A deleted server's world backups are kept for 14 days, then removed; the machine itself goes at once.
- Request history and the audit log stay while the account exists.
- Accounts are deleted on request through the support form: the account, its servers and their backups go with it. Payment records are kept as long as tax and accounting law requires.
5. Cookies and local storage
We use a session cookie to keep you signed in, a short-lived cookie that protects our sign-in and sign-up forms from forged submissions, and two browser-local settings for the theme and the sidebar state. That is all. There are no tracking or analytics cookies and no third-party advertising.
6. People you invite
Players you invite create their own accounts, and this policy applies to them too. The owner and admins of a server can see the display names of its members and who asked for what.
7. Security
Passwords are stored as salted hashes, connections use TLS, two-factor sign-in is available, and access to our systems is limited to the people who run the service. No system is perfect; if we learn of a breach that affects you, we tell you.
8. Your rights
You can see and change your email, display name and card from your account page, and download any of your world backups from the server page. For a copy of everything we hold about you, a correction, or deletion of your account, use the support form. If you are in the EU, the UK or another place with data-protection law, you also have the right to complain to your local authority.
9. Children
The service is not meant for children under 13 (or the higher age your country sets for online services). If you believe a child has created an account, tell us and we will delete it.
10. Changes
When this policy changes we post the new version here with a new date, and email every account about material changes.
11. Contact
Privacy questions go through the support form.
