Terms of service
Last updated 2026-10-02 · JVS Invest LLC
These terms are the agreement between you and JVS Invest LLC (“we”, “us”), the operator of ezserv, for every account, server and request on the service. By creating an account you accept them. They take effect on 2026-10-02.
1. What the service is
ezserv runs Valheim and Rust game servers for you, and can manage a Valheim or Rust server you run yourself once you connect it. You tell it what you want in plain English — install a mod, change a setting, update the game — and software, with help from an AI model, works out the exact change, applies it, checks that the server came back and undoes the change when it did not.
Valheim is made and owned by Iron Gate and published by Coffee Stain; its mods come from their own authors through Thunderstore. Rust is made and owned by Facepunch Studios; its plugins come from their own authors through uMod (Oxide). We are not affiliated with any of them, and we do not control what a game update, a mod or a plugin does.
2. Your account
You need a working email address and a password you keep to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account, including what people you invite to your servers do there. You must be old enough to enter into this agreement where you live, or have a parent or guardian do it for you. One person, one account.
3. Acceptable use
Use the service for your own game servers and the people you play with. You may not:
- run tools or configurations meant to cheat on, disrupt or gain access to other people's servers or accounts;
- store, share or serve illegal content, or content you have no right to use;
- abuse the AI: try to make it act outside your own server, flood it with automated requests, or use it to attack this service or anyone else;
- harass players, resell the service, or probe, scan or overload our systems.
We may pause or delete a server, or close an account, that breaks these rules. Where we can, we tell you first.
4. The free trial
The first server of a public account is a free trial: a full server for 6 hours. A payment card is required to start it, but nothing is charged for the trial. When the time is up the server is deleted automatically unless you choose to keep it before then. One trial per person and per card.
5. Subscriptions and payment
A server you keep, and every further server you create, is a monthly subscription per server, charged in advance to the card on file. Cancel at any time by deleting the server: the subscription ends at once and nothing more is charged. We do not refund the unused part of a month. If a payment fails we tell you and keep the server for a short grace period; if it still cannot be paid, the server is deleted.
When we fail to deliver — a server you paid for never started, for example — the charge is refunded. The details are in the refund policy. We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by email; the new price applies from your next monthly charge.
6. Changes you ask for
Requests are interpreted by software and an AI model. Small changes apply straight away; sensitive ones wait for an owner or admin to approve them. Every change starts with a snapshot and ends with a health check, and a change that leaves the server broken is rolled back. We cannot promise that every request is understood, that every mod works, or that a change never affects your world — read what the plan says before you approve it, and keep your own copy of a world you care about (you can download it at any time).
7. Your world and your data
Your world files, mod lists and settings are yours. We keep them to run the server and take a copy off the machine every day. When a server is deleted its machine goes at once and its backups are removed after 14 days. How we handle personal data is in the privacy policy.
8. Availability
The service is young. We work to keep servers up and recover them quickly, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. Maintenance, a game update, a mod that will not load or a problem at our hosting provider can take a server down. We may change or retire features; if we stop offering the service altogether we give you at least 30 days' notice and time to download your worlds.
9. Ending the agreement
You can stop at any time: delete your servers, and ask through the support form to have your account deleted. We can end it for a breach of these terms, for non-payment, or if we have to stop operating, with a refund where the refund policy provides one.
10. Liability
The service is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost worlds, lost play time, lost profits or any indirect damage, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the three months before the claim arose. Nothing here limits rights that the law where you live does not let you give up.
11. Changes to these terms
When we change these terms we post the new version here with a new date, and for material changes we email every account before they take effect. Using the service after that date means you accept the new terms.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the place where JVS Invest LLC is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and disputes are heard by the courts there — unless the law where you live gives you rights or a venue that cannot be waived, in which case those apply.
13. Contact
Questions about these terms go through the support form.
