Refund policy

This is how charges and refunds work on ezserv, run by JVS Invest LLC. Short version: the trial is free, a subscription ends the moment you delete the server, and we refund when we fail to deliver.

1. The free trial

Your first server is free for 6 hours. A card is required to start it, but nothing is charged unless you choose to keep the server before the trial ends. If you do nothing, the server is deleted when the time is up and there is nothing to cancel.

2. Subscriptions

A kept or newly created server is $14.99 / month, charged in advance to your card. Cancel at any time by deleting the server: the subscription ends at once and no further charge is made. We do not refund the remainder of a month you have already paid for.

3. When we refund

• We could not deliver. If a server you paid for never came up, or we had to delete it on our side because it could not be started, the charge is refunded to your card automatically.
• Long outages on our side. If your server was unavailable for a large part of a month because of a problem at our end, ask and we refund or credit that month.
• Duplicate charges. If you were charged twice for the same server, the extra charge is refunded.

Refunds go back to the card that paid. Stripe usually shows them within five to ten business days.

4. What we do not refund

• A mod that breaks or behaves differently than you hoped — every change can be rolled back, and the request shows why it failed.
• A Valheim or Rust update that your mods or plugins have not caught up with yet, or a Rust map wipe.
• Time you did not use, or players who stopped showing up.
• A server deleted by you, or by us for a breach of the terms.

5. How to ask

Use the support form within 30 days of the charge, with the server name and the date. We answer by email, usually within two business days.

6. Chargebacks

Please talk to us before asking your bank to reverse a charge. A chargeback for a charge this policy covers is refunded anyway; one for a charge it does not cover may end the account.
